Professional Affiliations

We have had a booth at HIMSS since 1998 and have been members of the CHIME Foundation since 2003. We have presented numerous times at HIMSS, CHIME, and MUSE on varied topics including the CEO’s expectations of the CIO, retention and hiring, and marketing the healthcare IT department. We have authored a number of articles in magazines such as ADVANCE and HITS, and a book, Marketing IT in the Healthcare Environment, in conjunction with HIMSS.

Management Team

Judy Kirby, CPC, has been President of Kirby Partners (formerly Snelling Executive Search) since 1994. She continues to actively recruit for Healthcare Information Systems, including academic institutions, integrated delivery networks, medical centers and consulting firms. Judy is an active member of the Hospital Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and has presented at international conferences. Judy has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Judy’s interests include international travel (she has visited 51 countries on 6 continents) and snow skiing.

Steve Bennett is a Vice President with Kirby Partners.  His career background includes nearly 25 years with regional and national advertising agencies. He owned an advertising firm for five years, has been a newspaper reporter, publisher of a medical magazine for physicians, and college instructor in public speaking and mass communication. He has a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University, and a Masters degree in Communication from the University of Michigan.  Steve is an Eagle Scout and enjoys scuba diving and backpacking. 

Neil McCormick, CPC, has been with Kirby Partners since April 1996. Prior to joining Kirby Partners Neil spent 13 years working for the British Civil Service in an HR and Staff Development and Training capacity. Neil and his wife Judy have been blessed with three boys and like to spend time in the UK visiting family. In his spare time he likes to roam the links and is an enthusiastic golfer.
